Carbamide peroxide is used in both over-the-counter whitening products and home-use remedies from your dentist.

Water-based carbamide peroxide breaks down into two components: hydrogen peroxide and urea. After the breakdown occurs, the hydrogen peroxide is actually what whitens your teeth.

A whitening product that contains 10% carbamide peroxide will typically break down to 3.5% hydrogen peroxide, depending on the concentration.

During professional in-clinic whitening procedures, the level of hydrogen peroxide can be as high as 25% to 40%, which is far more than what is considered a safe amount for at-home use, hence, at home whitening products are preferred all around the world.

When to use:
Generalized stains on your teeth
Ageing teeth
Smoking and dietary stains
Dental fluorosis – fluorosis with multiple spots on teeth may benefit from whitening

Follow the recommended application method provided with teeth whitening kit & gel refills. This involves applying the gel directly to your kit tray. Ensure that the gel is evenly distributed and covers the desired areas.

MySmile can whiten your teeth and improve the shade of your teeth; depending on the number of times you use it. The results should last between two weeks and two months depending on how well you maintain your oral hygiene, and consumption of dark foods and drinks, for example, coffee and tea. To maintain your results, we recommend using MySmile Kit every two weeks.

Maximum results can be achieved after 5-6 applications.

Silicon.

We discourage sharing the kit with anyone else, for health and hygiene purposes. Do not share the mouth tray, as it is designed for personal use and should not be shared with anyone else.

Three Whitening Gels are provided for One Full Course.
Gel Refill – 3mL (1mL for each session/ O.5mL for upper tray and 0.5mL for lower tray.
One Full Course: 9 sessions over a period of Two weeks.

Gel refills can be stored in a cool, dry place.

To maintain your results, we recommend using MySmile Kit, once, every two weeks, after the initial 9 sessions have concluded.

MySmile Teeth Whitening Pen contains 2mL, 35% Carbamide Peroxide Gel which yields roughly, 9% Hydrogen Peroxide.

Teeth Whitening does not work on artificial or Lab-Fabricated teeth. This includes caps, crowns, bridges, fillings, complete and partial dentures. We recommend using the Teeth Whitening Pen after your dentist has removed the braces, and the purpose for which they were used, has completed. For retainers, you may be able to use the Teeth Whitening Pen but we recommend consulting your dentist before using it.
